Diddly Squat Farming, LLC., was established in December 2020, and is 100% owned and operated by a Black woman, retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, and member of the LGTBQ+ community. This 5-acre farm is designed to be eco-friendly, eco-conscious, multipurpose, and where purpose meets peace. The owner Constance is a Certified Farm Operator and Certified Hemp Grower by the Maryland Department of Agriculture.
Constance’s roots are from South Carolina, deeply rooted in generations of farming tracing back to from the 1950s through 2000. Constance brings a legacy of strength, soil, and service into everything she grows. The farms workforce development employs military veterans, county residents, recent high school graduates, college graduates, and undergraduates in the areas of environmental science, agriculture, horticulture, sales, and marketing from local colleges and universities in Maryland. This creates a strong winning team at Diddly Squat Farming. This is not just a farm — it’s a ministry of land and love.
